Entrepreneurship
Playing a sport is one thing. Teaching a sport is another. And having a business, which is pretty much necessary to be able teach a sport, is a whole new paradigm of existing. It turns out that nothing of value is ever easy, as this holds true for owning and running a business. If you add the role of a full time parent to this, you have killer scenario for which not too many sign up. The popular phrase mompreneur, consisting of two big concepts shoved into one small word, almost precisely describes the overwhelming task of trying to be successful at both motherhood and entrepreneurship - always attempting to achieve too much in too little, time, money, energy, strength, rest.
Still, the pleasure of being able to be my own boss, and design my time and lifestyle according to my dream is a very special feeling, a great place to be. Even more so, having a platform, a real place from which I can share my vision, my ideas, support and inspire others is even more special to me.
The journey is that of almost unbearable pressure at a maddening pace, incredible power (in the best sense) and intoxicating joy; it’s a journey of sleepless nights, silent tears, guilt and restlessness. It’s a also a journey of dreams coming true, exceeding the hand that life dealt you in the first place, and ultimately, having the last laugh. A strong, loud, happy laugh, that I wish to share with the world.
